Our free guide to ‘Protecting mothballed premises during the Covid-19 pandemic’ has been revised after the Government introduced new national restrictions from 5 November 2020.
“We’ve taken the guidance we issued during the first lockdown earlier this year and brought it up-to-date to reflect the latest Government guidance and regulations,” explained David Reynolds, RiskSTOP’s Head of Risk Engineering and Surveys.
“We’ve also placed more emphasis on the potential for freezing conditions during the four-week lockdown period. This time of year increases the risk of property damage arising from burst pipes and with many properties being shut-down the threat is now even greater.”
David added: “There was significant demand from insurance underwriters and brokers for our checklist of considerations and recommendations last time, so we’re keen to make this information available once again. No permission is needed to share or reproduce our guide as we’d like it to help protect as many businesses as possible at this difficult time.”
